DMCA & Intellectual Property Policy

Our Stance on Designs and IP

Treaslet respects intellectual property — both our own and others’. This page explains our policy and how to report potential infringement.

Our Designs

Every Treaslet product is either:

  1. Designed in-house by our team, with original artwork
  2. Created by independent artists we partner with, with proper licensing
  3. Inspired by general aesthetics (Y2K, Cottagecore, Dark Academia, etc.) — these are stylistic genres, not protected IP

What we never do:

  • Copy specific copyrighted characters from anime, games, movies, or TV
  • Reproduce trademarked logos or brand names
  • Sell unauthorized merchandise of existing IP
  • Imitate another artist’s distinctive personal style

If a product references a general aesthetic that happens to overlap with popular media, that’s coincidence — we draw inspiration from culture broadly, not from specific copyrighted works.

If You Believe We’ve Infringed Your IP

If you’re a copyright or trademark owner and believe a product on Treaslet infringes your rights, we take that seriously. Send us a DMCA takedown notice with the following information:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work — which specific work is allegedly infringed
  2. Identification of the infringing item — URL or product name on Treaslet
  3. Your contact information — name, address, phone, email
  4. Statement of good faith belief — that the use is not authorized
  5. Statement of accuracy — under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf
  6. Your physical or electronic signature

Send to: dmca@treaslet.com (or hello@treaslet.com if dmca alias is not yet active)

We respond to valid DMCA notices within 5 business days. Items in question are typically removed pending review.

Counter-Notice

If you believe a takedown was made in error, you may submit a counter-notice with similar formal information. We’ll forward it to the original claimant.

Repeat Infringers

We terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe IP rights, in accordance with the DMCA.

Trademark Concerns

Trademark concerns (versus copyright) follow a similar process. Email hello@treaslet.com with details.
